Lydia Ring was born Lydia Cook… She was born in Ft. Worth, Texas but grew up in Graceville, Florida. At the age of 6, the Lord used the book Pilgrims Progress to soften her heart the the gospel of Jesus Christ. She got down on her knees and in the instant she asked Jesus into her heart, became a changed person. Her junior year of high school, the Lord moved the Cook family to Louisville, Kentucky. She spent 3 years pursuing a Christian Counseling degree and 2 years working full time. Lydia is enjoying her life has Blake’s wife and Will’s mother.

Your new son is a beautiful grace gift! Tracy and I have been thinking about an international adoption for about 2 or 3 years now. We would like to adopt a little boy from West Africa, but are probably going to wait a couple of years. We’re just moving to a new position at a new church and I think we’ll probably need some time to get our feet wet.
