Blake Ring was born and raised in the small town of Effingham, Illinois. He graduated from University of Illinois with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. After graduating from the grueling program, Blake decided that he wouldn’t use his degree at all and packed up his life and moved to Louisville, Kentucky. The Lord had called him into the ministry. Blake graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in Biblical Studies in May 2005. In January of 2006, Blake began PhD work in Evangelism and Church Growth and was called to his first church staff position at Ninth and O Baptist Church. In his free time he spend time with his LOVELY wife Lydia and his HANDSOM son Will.
